This pre-launch wording explains the current first-party Business Insights design and remains subject to legal review before launch.
Randpark Local records first-party public business-profile views and clicks on website, WhatsApp, phone, email and directions links. We use aggregate counts to show business owners how their listings perform and to improve the directory. Visitor identities and anonymous session hashes are not shown to business owners.
Business Insights does not store raw IP addresses, personal contact details from the clicked link, advertising identifiers or full user-agent strings. Detailed analytics are retained for the configured period, initially 90 days. Aggregated daily statistics may be retained longer. Short-lived first-party anonymous session identifiers are kept in browser session storage and hashed by the server before storage.
Business owners upload images for review. Source files are processed privately, metadata including embedded location data is removed, and only approved processed versions are made public. Rejected and abandoned private media is retained only for the configured cleanup period.
Google Analytics, advertising tracking and social-media pixels are not currently used. Hosting and infrastructure providers may process technical request information needed to operate and secure the service.
